What can we say that could add to the majesty of Kunde Winery? In short, it is a dream. Cody and Brad were classic and in love, our favorite combination. On the top of a hill in a grove of oak trees surrounded by grapes, they danced the night away.
Katie and Jake are one of those couples that are constantly glowing. Everything was as it should be- happy. Laughter and precious moments filled our day. Even during more stressful moments of the day, our team tapped into the flow of the day and came out on the other side with a great success! Jerred and I focused on off camera lighting at the reception for more of a dramatic look.
Calling the weather a warm afternoon would be the understatement of the year. At 112 degrees during the peak of any other day might have been unbearable, but there is always extra magic floating around when it comes to love and weddings. They cuddled and laughed during their portraits like a pro, and Liz’s hair somehow remained perfect throughout the whole day- see for yourself! Liz and Craig wanted a Great Gatsby feel to their wedding, and we think they pulled it off with flying colors! Sunset time in Kenwood can be somewhat difficult because of the hills towards the coast, but I was lucky enough to steal them away for a short sunset session right before the first dance.
Chalk Hill Winery was the perfect place for C+K to get married! It provided the perfect woodsy back drops for photos. I loved being able to stroll with the bride and groom, you couldn’t take a bad shot that day!
The Sylvan House in Angwin was dreamy with natural light as Erin got ready to see Eli for the first time in her dress. I was even able to use the light in my favor as they said their vows outdoors surrounded by loved ones. They shared drinks and laughter as the sun set, then it was time to hit the dance floor. I had so much fun capturing everyone on the outdoor dance floor celebrating this special day! After dancing, they even handed out IT’S-IT’S ice cream sandwiches. Yes please!!
