Shooting film in complete shade can be hard, but Nicole and David’s images turned out stunning! We love shooting in trees, especially with couples as sweet as this. Can you tell there was lots of laughter and happiness? Small creeks, light in the trees, long tables, and lots of smiles. Thank you again for allowing us to be part of your special day.
It doesn’t get more special than Sadie and Reid. Sweet Sadie is a pastor of Bethany United Methodist Church, and Jerred and I had the honor of photographing her beautiful wedding right here in San Francisco. They wanted an urban feel to their images, so we drove around Noe Valley and ended with a sunset in Burlingame. Beautiful, natural, and effortless. Sunsets and people in love never get old.
Calling the weather a warm afternoon would be the understatement of the year. At 112 degrees during the peak of any other day might have been unbearable, but there is always extra magic floating around when it comes to love and weddings. They cuddled and laughed during their portraits like a pro, and Liz’s hair somehow remained perfect throughout the whole day- see for yourself! Liz and Craig wanted a Great Gatsby feel to their wedding, and we think they pulled it off with flying colors! Sunset time in Kenwood can be somewhat difficult because of the hills towards the coast, but I was lucky enough to steal them away for a short sunset session right before the first dance.
Shooting in wineries is always a joy. Posing and strolling among the grapes and lush greenery stays being a winning combo for us. A color palette of sage, peach, blush, with pops of magenta and raspberry colored our day as we focused in on what we do best: turning beautiful moments into lasting memories.
