THE INDEX

Hey there, wedding lovers! Robin here, ready to discuss Jillian and Amos’s fantastic Healdsburg wedding. This one’s special, folks—it’s a tale of margaritas, water slides, and a whole lot of love!

How It All Began

Picture this: A Labor Day party with margaritas flowing, a heated game of bocce ball, and a water slide for good measure. That’s where I met Jillian and Amos. Maybe it was the tequila, or perhaps it was their infectious energy, but we clicked instantly.

Kicking Off at h2 Hotel

Our big day started at the oh-so-chic h2 Hotel in Healdsburg. Let me tell you, this place is a photographer’s playground! The entryway light is magical, and a fountain of spoons serenades you. Fancy schmancy? You bet but with a super chill vibe.

Pro tip: If you ever stay here, prepare for the comfiest bed with an oddly satisfying number of pillows. It’s like a cloud, I swear!

Capturing the Magic

For you photo geeks out there (I see you!), I shot most of this wedding with my trusty Contax 645 and Canon F1, loaded with Fuji 400 film. My partner in crime, Jerred, was on second shooter duty while Vincent kept us from turning into wedding zombies.

Church Time with a Twist Next stop

The church. But here’s the kicker—Amos’s mom was the officiant! Talk about keeping it in the family. I switched to Ilford 3200 film for this part, and holy moly, the result was a chef’s kiss.

Party Central After the “I dos,” it was time to par-tay!

The food was to die for (hello, Michelin-star level yumminess), and the dance floor? Let’s say it got a serious workout.

Fun fact:

Amos designs those cool beer and wine labels you see, while Jillian rocks it in advertising. Adventure? Oh yeah, they’re all about it!
