Bodega Bay, with its rugged coastline and golden sunsets, offers a Sonoma County photographer endless possibilities. As we began the session, the gentle sound of waves and the salty breeze set the perfect mood for Emma and Mel’s love story to unfold.

The Couple’s Journey

Emma and Mel’s story is as enchanting as Bodega Bay itself. They first met as children and reconnected years later in high school. As their Sonoma County photographer, I was touched to learn that Mel’s parents had found an old photo of them playing trumpets together – a symbol that has become significant in their relationship.

The Magic of Bodega Bay Light

Any Sonoma County photographer will tell you that the light at Bodega Bay is amazing. As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the landscape, I used my trusty Sony camera to document the magic. This camera is particularly good at capturing the nuanced light and making skin tones come alive – a crucial tool for any Sonoma County photographer.
